More about this footwear

Description

Crafted from suede-finished Kudu leather, this veldtschoen-style shoe offers the comfort and wearability needed for long days on foot. The soft brown suede allows the leather’s natural grain to remain visible while keeping weight to a minimum — a reliable option in dry, warm terrain.

Built by the Courteney Boot Company in Zimbabwe using traditional stitched-down construction and ripple rubber sole for bush-tested grip and flexibility.

Made to order in men’s and women’s fit, with half sizes available. Alternative sole options available on request.

The term veldskoen – or veldskoens, depending on preference – is often used interchangeably with “vellies” in South Africa.
