The Courteney Scout is a mid-height veldtschoen boot crafted from full-grain black Buffalo leather. Designed for serious outdoor use, it features stitched-down construction for flexibility, natural water resistance and long wear in dry terrain. Plus a full bellows tongue which offers protection from sand, seeds and insects. The tyre tread rubber sole is standard – trusted by rangers, trackers and guides for reliable grip and quiet movement across rough ground.
Commonly listed as veldskoen or veldskoens, this type of shoe is better known in everyday language as “vellies.”
Handmade in Zimbabwe by the Courteney Boot Company, this style is built for strength without excess weight. Made to order in men’s and women’s fit, including half sizes. Other sole options are available on request.
